Saturday 4 October 8.50am -- Assemble in hotel foyer. Group will be collected by Kiwi Tours and will be taken to Pukekura Park. Chris Connolly, Curator from the Park, will provide a guided tour. The Park covers about 128 acres and contains a diverse range of landscapes, including many plant collections, exotic specimen trees, formal gardens, lakes and walking trails through native bush as well as a fernery. 9.45am Morning Tea at the Pukekura Park Tearooms. Bus departs for Ngamamaku Garden in Oakura. Partners will get a guided tour around this 3 acre "Garden of National Significance" which has been developed from scratch over the last eighteen years and is a mixture of natural native bush and formal gardens including a Japanese Garden built in early 2004.
