We also run 2-3 functions during the year, which are either free of charge or heavily subsidized. For example, we did not charge our members for the meal and AGM, and are planning a pre-Christmas cruise, free to members and subsidised for staff, as we did so successfully in 2008.” In addition, the Association had closed the year with an impressive bank balance. The Financial and Auditors reports were tabled, moved, seconded, discussed and passed. Haydn thanked Wayne Fowler as his Vice President and his Committee for their efforts during what had proven to be a most rewarding year, and wished the Association continued success in the year ahead. eleCtIoN of offICers Wayne Fowler has stepped up to the plate to take the job of President for the ensuing year, ably backed by his Committee.
