The National : APRIL MAY JUNE 2016
THE AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL DRYCLEANER & LAUNDERER APRIL MAY JUNE 2016 9 good drycleaners when they retire. In 2009 Regal was a great little business which had obviously benefited from Martyn and Alison’s creative touch, (with wedding dresses on mannequins in the call office and framed local wedding photos on an easel.) The plant has gone through two renovations since then and these days that attention to the bridal market is reflected in gorgeous, bright photographs which take up the whole of the fascia above the counter. In a clever, mutually beneficial move, Regal Dry Cleaners partners with BPhotography, who specialise in wedding and family photography. The lovely sign boards are changed four times annually. Customers get quite a kick out of seeing themselves, or family, on display. Speaking of displays, a very fine array of consumables for the customer is prominent in the clean and bright navy and white call area, with strategic yellow highlights. Fresh! Everything a customer needs to keep their wardrobe looking smart. At the top of the picture you see the beautiful wedding photos which advertise Regal Dry Cleaners as bridal specialists – and give the locals a bit of a kick four times a year when the photographs are changed over. At the middle photograph, you can see the bag rest or shopping bench, essential for the busy customer who doesn’t want to have to put down their shopping, and then bend down with an armful of garments to pick it up again. Vicki Peers (Deniliquin Dry Cleaners, NSW) visited the plant and discussed the adjustable bagging machine with Kate and Kristy.
