I love that “Newcomers” see our industry through totally new eyes. They don’t know about “the good old days” ... they are intent on making these the good days. They see possibilities. Seeing potential gave Adam an edge. He rolled up his sleeves, cleaned the shop, repainted, rebranded via new graphics and colours, while keeping the established name, and after throwing out the old, brought in new equipment. Basically, he set about renovating the business from the ground up. FRESH EYES Adam White is a relative new comer to the dry cleaning indus- try, having bought the well- established Georges Dry Cleaners, in 2014. Adam was Sales Manager for Audi in a for- mer life. Clearly, selling a pres- tige product, (a burning desire that sells itself - no offence!) as against selling what is some- times, at best, a grudge spend, are two different things. So while the shop windows were rebranded with the new modern George’s look, and machinery has been updated, there are still a couple of areas that will be upgraded as time and money permits.
